Water: African violet, gardenia, geranium, honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossom, tea rose, ylang ylang

Fire: almond, amber, cinnamon, floral musk, frangipani, morning dew, spice

Earth: coconut, lavender, lemongrass, patchouli, rosemary, vanilla

Use these scents in the combination that works best for you! There is no “one size fits all” here; tailor things to your needs.

You can also create a witchin’ box. This box is just a small container with an item placed inside that represents a spell, goal, or intention. For example, you can create a “success” box that contains a penny to represent the Earth Element and a small stone representing the Earth’s energy and abundance. You can also have a picture or figure of a Water animal like a koi fish or sea turtle, which symbolizes the Water Element and represents prosperity. The “success” box can incorporate anything that represents your definition of success. You can customize the box to suit any of our desires and the box can be a discrete item on your desk that no one would know contains magical wonders.

If having a box is too much for your space, you can simplify it. I like to keep symbolic items in my jacket pockets so I can easily connect with the Energy, Element, or spell just by putting my hands in my pockets. When I need a specific energy or spell for the day, I carefully choose a piece of jewelry with a specific crystal or gem—some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are inexpensive necklaces with colored beads. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be effective!

Witchy Art

Create your own piece of witchy art to keep in your office that will help you manifest your work or career goals. “If it’s in your heart, bring it into your life with art!” (Kambos, 2003, p.20). Don’t worry if you don’t think of yourself as an artist; this is an excellent ritual to let your creativity shine. You create the art in the comfort of your own home and then you can wrap it up and take it into your office. The canvas can be as big or as small as you like; smaller is often more recommended since it is easy to transport.

You want to prepare for this ritual as you would any other ritual. Wear the clothes you feel comfortable with and don’t forget to do a cleansing of yourself and your mind before you begin. This ritual is best done during the waxing phase of the moon. Think about a goal you want to manifest. Take time to meditate on what you want, which will give you a deeper understanding of what to paint. You will also need to have:

a paintbrush with natural bristle and a wooden handle is recommended
